Justin Bieber will take Mariah Yeater paternity test in two weeks

Though Justin Bieber has spent the last few days overseas — performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Ireland and re-connecting with girlfriend Selena Gomez (who, despite reports claiming otherwise on Friday, has not broken up with the Canadian pop star) — Bieber hasn’t escaped from the ongoing paternity suit drama.

Bieber isn’t ignoring it, though. While accepting the best pop award at the EMAs last night, Bieber said, “There’s been a lot of crap on the Internet lately, but I’ve pulled through it.” And the 17-year-old pop star will take a paternity test as soon as he returns to North America, according to TMZ.

Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old California woman who claims Bieber fathered her three-month-old son, sued the singer earlier this month, demanding a paternity test and child support. And as members of Team Bieber told TMZ, the singer will submit to testing in two weeks. Bieber’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, has informed Yeater’s legal team of the news, TMZ reports, and a lab has been selected. And, should it turn out that Biebz isn’t a candidate for the next season of 16 and Pregnant, he reportedly aims to sue Yeater right back.
